Multiplier Event
Formative Footprint & Dese 3

On 20 October 2023, the multiplier event of the SIV project, hosted by Deses 3 in cooperation with Formative Footprint, was an extraordinary success!

With a turnout of 126 participants, the event captured the attention of young people, former volunteers, youth educators and NGO representatives. The objective was clear: to offer total immersion in the world of the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and to present the revolutionary SIV platform, designed to elevate the European volunteering experience.

From theory to practice, the day started with a dive into the ESC universe, highlighting the exclusive benefits for young volunteers: monthly allowance, free accommodation, mentoring, language support, health insurance and the prestigious Youthpass certificate.

The real star of the event was the SIV-APP, an innovative web application offering vital information and reviews on ESC projects in specific locations. The focus was on integration into the local community, and participants were guided through navigating the site and understanding the application process.

The practical part provided excitement through mock interviews with the ESC, allowing everyone to experience the process from both perspectives. Guidelines and tips were dispensed, ensuring a constructive and educational experience.

The verdict? An overwhelming success! The event received a logistics score of 4.5 out of 5, indicating impeccable planning. But the real triumph came from the participants, who unanimously gave the JPA a 5 out of 5, highlighting its success in channeling participation in CES projects and fostering integration into the project communities.

The event concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, in which our valiant former volunteers dominated the stage. Their practical experience added a special touch, providing valuable insights and authentic answers to the questions of the enthusiastic participants. This led to a crescendo of inspiration and connection, underlining the transformative potential of European volunteering.
